Ahti is the Finnish god of the sea and fishing. He appears in various spells, where the spellcaster is asking for a good catch when he is going fishing. Ahti is called the king of waves, among other such titles, and is described as having a beard. Sometimes Vellamo is mentioned with him in spells as the "mistress of water". Mikael Agricola's God List mentions Ahti as a god of Tavastians who brought fish from water.
The origin of his name is unclear, but one theory suggests that it's connected to seals (in Ingria called "nahti").
